Description
Born on Earth, Bes Jordan enlisted in the military and rose to become a top cadet before his assignment to the Terran colony on Solo. Discovering the excavation of the Ideon, he attempted to seize it under the false assumption of unauthorized construction, coinciding with a Buff Clan assault. Leading the defense, he boarded the Ideon's Sol Vernier torso component during its activation. Amidst chaos, he encountered refugee Karala Ajiba and permitted her passage aboard the Solo Ship, unaware of her alien origins.
As the highest-ranking military survivor post-evacuation, Bes assumed de facto command of the Solo Ship, bearing crushing responsibility for crew safety during the Buff Clan's relentless pursuit. Leadership stress and exhaustion intensified following crewmate Moera Fatima's death.
Despite initial distrust from figures like Sheryl Formosa, Bes fostered a protective and romantic bond with Karala Ajiba—daughter of the Buff Clan's Supreme Commander. His kindness persisted after her heritage was revealed, rooted in his moral refusal to harm women. Their interspecies relationship deepened until Karala and Joliver Ira were transported to the Buff Clan flagship Bairal Jin. Bes spearheaded a rescue mission culminating in the Solo Ship colliding with the enemy vessel, where Karala revealed her pregnancy with Bes's child, shocking both factions.
In the final conflict, Bes perished in the Gando Rowa superweapon's blast. His existence transcended death, reborn spiritually alongside Karala and their child—designated Messiah—signifying cosmic rebirth.
Physically 18 with green hair and eyes, Bes embodied the "Team Dad" archetype, displaying acute concern for the crew's children and unyielding resolve under pressure, defining his command during the Solo Ship's flight.
