His form evokes a red troll or ogre from Japanese folklore, marked by crimson skin, horns, fangs, pointed ears, and yellow eyes with brown pupils. He dresses in a cream undershirt beneath a yellow-and-black zebra-print tunic and a one-sleeved brown shirt, accessorized with criss-crossing brown belts, spiked black wristbands, and brown boots, while consistently brandishing a club. His personality centers on immense physical strength coupled with a brutish, simplistic nature. Though often serious, he displays immaturity, particularly when Brooha scolds him for mishandling her inventions. His limited intelligence causes him to struggle with complex plans or unfamiliar objects, leading him to carelessly discard Brooha's creations. He frequently singles out Glitter Peace, targeting her perceived vulnerability as the team's "crybaby," yet consistently fails to defeat her despite his relentless efforts. Brutus was not always a villain. Originally a pixie named Rufus, he endured mistreatment from other fairy-tale creatures due to his storybook role as a villain. Rascal transformed him into Brutus to serve Nogo, erasing his former identity. As a commander, he attacks Earth to harvest dark energy for Nogo's revival, utilizing the Black Paint of Darkness and his Picture Book of Darkness to craft evil alternate realities that drain human willpower. He also creates Buffoon monsters using Red Noses infused with Glitter Charm fragments. In combat, he generates powerful wind gusts with his metal staff. He participates in numerous battles across both seasons, frequently fighting alongside Ulric and Brooha. He notably ambushes Glitter Peace when she is isolated but is repeatedly vanquished by the Glitter Force. During the series finale, Glitter Lucky purifies him using the Miracle Jewel's power, reversing Rascal's transformation and restoring his original pixie form, Rufus. His relationships feature friction with Brooha over his destruction of her inventions and camaraderie with Ulric, sharing interests like giant robots. His dynamic with Glitter Peace remains purely antagonistic, defined by exploiting her timid nature through taunts and belittlement.
