Goo Goo Dolls is the Stand of Gwess, a character in *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean*. It manifests as a diminutive humanoid entity, roughly mouse-sized, featuring a segmented mechanical body. Its design incorporates robotic limbs, a cylindrical head crowned with thorn-like protrusions, and a loosely stitched jaw held perpetually open, exposing sharp teeth. Equally sharp fingers allow it to shred victims. Its manga coloration is primarily purple with silver joints and spikes, plus yellow mouth tendons and eyes. The Stand possesses a feral and aggressive personality, capable only of muttering "Goo" while attacking enemies with reckless abandon. It also exhibits cunning, strategically employing its shrinking ability during confrontations. Goo Goo Dolls' primary power is instantaneous size reduction. It can shrink any human target within its range down to mouse size without direct contact, specifically targeting individuals Gwess wishes to control or befriend, reflecting her manipulative nature. The effect is instantaneous and initially unnoticeable. Victims remain small only near Gwess; moving beyond a certain distance triggers continuous reversion to normal size. Gwess typically exploits this to create makeshift "pets," forcing shrunken victims into hollowed animal skins. Goo Goo Dolls often hides nearby, attacking disobedient victims automatically. Its claws are lethal to shrunken targets but ineffective against full-sized Stand users or in direct combat due to its size. While similar to Little Feet, key differences exist: Goo Goo Dolls' shrinking is instantaneous, not gradual. It cannot shrink inanimate objects or its user, Gwess, and its effects are range-dependent. Its Developmental Potential is ranked "B." Gwess acquired Goo Goo Dolls after obtaining a pendant containing a Stand Arrow shard, purchased from inmate Ermes Costello, activating her latent ability aligned with her controlling nature. Within the narrative, Gwess uses the Stand to shrink protagonist Jolyne Cujoh, forcing her into a rat carcass to infiltrate the prison control center. Jolyne's escape and retaliation with her Stand, Stone Free, lead to Gwess' defeat. Subsequently, Gwess shifts to a peripheral role, occasionally providing prison information to Jolyne though remaining distrusted. Her involvement wanes after the Foo Fighters arc, with only a minor reappearance during the Jail House Lock storyline. The Stand's name references the American rock band Goo Goo Dolls, continuing the series' musical nomenclature tradition. It is one of few Stands with a plural name that is not a Colony-type Stand.
