TV-Series
Description
Nasuti Yagyū, granddaughter of historian Professor Konosuke Yagyu, is half-Japanese and half-French. She spent her early years in France before returning to Japan to assist her grandfather at the university, delving deep into his research on legendary armors and the Samurai Troopers. This made her one of the few aware of the Youja (the Evil Dynasty/Arago/Talpa) threat. Utilizing her grandfather's files and computer skills, she located and supported the Samurai Troopers after their initial separation.

Initially 17 during the television series, Nasuti encountered the Troopers in Shinjuku during Arago's invasion. She swiftly became their guardian, offering critical logistical and intellectual support. She transported them across Japan in her Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Turbo, driving on a French International Driver's License due to her age. She provided refuge at her family's vacation home. Though captured early on, she learned to avoid such situations, growing resilient. Her grandfather's death in her arms was pivotal, yet she persisted in her mission.

Nasuti evolved into the Troopers' strategic and emotional anchor. While lacking supernatural powers, she contributed vital expertise in ancient artifacts and languages. For instance, in "Kikoutei Densetsu," she deciphered Mukara's language to guide the group. She also cared for the young boy Jun Yamano (Ully/Yuli). Her moral purity shielded both from Youja World corruption, enabling their role in empowering the Inochi no Magatama.

In the OVA "Gaiden" at age 19, her support continued, though less prominent. By "Kikoutei Densetsu" and "Message" in her early twenties, she took on international responsibilities. In "Message," she attended a special UN General Assembly session in New York addressing supernatural global threats, intending to reveal the Troopers' existence. Her brief appearance offered support to Ryo confronting Suzunagi.

Her hobbies included studying legends, driving, and kendo. She favored practical clothing like culottes for fieldwork. Nasuti's character design features conflicting birthdates (May 15 or May 28, 1970), with the latter often cited. The manga adaptation reduced her role, prioritizing action and Jun's storyline. Fan works (dōjinshi) frequently depict her as an older sister figure to the Troopers, sometimes featuring non-canonical romantic pairings with Seiji (Sage).
