TV-Series
Description
Makoto Takei holds the position of student council president at Kaibara Municipal High School immediately preceding Yuki Sohma's term. He strictly enforces school rules, confronting Hatsuharu Sohma over his two-toned hair and Momiji Sohma for wearing the girls' uniform. During these encounters, he dismisses Yuki Sohma's attempts to intervene, firmly asserting his commitment to logical standards.
Takei exhibits a rigid and self-important personality, prone to irritability when his authority is questioned. He displays intense admiration for Yuki Sohma, often idealizing him and visibly blushing. This fixation leads him to appoint Yuki as his successor for student council president; he later expresses regret solely because it limits his direct observation of Yuki.
A significant confrontation erupts when Hatsuharu, provoked by Takei's inflexibility, attacks him in a restroom. The altercation escalates with Hatsuharu revealing intimate physical features to demonstrate his hair is natural.
Later, in *Fruits Basket Another*, Takei returns as a teacher at the same high school. His unwavering adherence to rules persists, evident when he reprimands Sawa Mitoma for tardiness. His interaction with Mutsuki Sohma, Yuki's son, reveals behavior mirroring his earlier fixation on Yuki, indicating a persistent inclination to idolize members of the Sohma family.
