Description
O Rei stands as the primary antagonist, initially holding high military rank on the radiation-ravaged planet S-1. Confronting ecological collapse, he rejected Professor Raegan's environmental restoration efforts, advocating instead for planetary relocation. He seized absolute power by assassinating S-1's emperor and framing Marin Reigan and his father for the murder, enabling his interplanetary invasion plans.

Commanding the Aldebaren Army, he evacuated S-1's populace aboard the fortress Algol toward Earth. After pursuing Marin through a hyperspace rift, his forces invaded Earth in 2100. He executed ruthless strategies: chemical assaults crippled Earth's agriculture, while covert operations eliminated hyperspace researchers to preserve his tactical edge.

His manipulation of subordinate Aphrodia proved pivotal. He exploited her loyalty to orchestrate the emperor's assassination, then engineered her brother Miran's death at Marin's hands. This forged her into his vengeful enforcer, cementing control through psychological domination.

During the conflict's climax, he deployed artificial suns to melt Earth's polar ice, unleashing apocalyptic tsunamis that drowned coastal cities and slaughtered millions. This catastrophe exposed a temporal paradox: Earth's transformed wasteland mirrored S-1's future, proving his invasion caused the radiation his people fled. He dismissed the revelation despite evidence and troop disillusionment.

His downfall came when Earth's Blue Fixer defense launched a radioactive core into his fleet from their submarine base, killing key personnel. In the film adaptation, a rogue officer detonated Earth's nuclear arsenal, fulfilling the time loop. Aphrodia ultimately betrayed him, shooting him amid the chaos. His death finalized Earth's transformation into S-1's poisoned future.
