Description
Dead End, also known as Tekkaman Dead, survived the fictional Black September Incident in Prague. During this event, thousands of humans altered into Primary Bodies by the Radam rallied under cult leader Mikhail. World militaries responded with a nuclear attack on the city, killing Dead End's friends and family. He alone endured, left emotionally scarred and consumed by rage toward the Space Knights, specifically blaming member Aki Kisaragi ("The Red Devil") for her role preceding the bombing.

Following the tragedy, Dead End broke into a military facility housing a captured Radam Tekkaplant. Using this alien technology instead of Earth's adapted version, he underwent an unauthorized transformation into a fully-fledged Tekkaman. This granted him exponentially greater power than standard Tekkamen, including enhanced combat capabilities and unique offensive techniques. His Tekkaman crystal resides embedded in the handle of a knife he carries.

As Tekkaman Dead, he wields the Crash Intrude technique, generating a bird-shaped energy aura to crash through enemies. Specialized shoulder armor allows him to absorb Voltekka energy attacks and redirect the absorbed energy back at opponents via his own Voltekka cannon. His armor initially features large shoulder pods and a visor, but these components degrade during prolonged battles due to insufficient regeneration time.

Driven by survivor's guilt and vengeance, Dead End initiates attacks to draw the Space Knights' attention, specifically targeting Tekkaman Blade (D-Boy) for decisive battles. He repeatedly defeats Blade during their encounters, exploiting the latter's weakened state. However, Dead End's motivations extend beyond revenge; he experiences profound despair and expresses a desire to die, though he cannot bring himself to commit suicide. Instead, he engages in high-risk confrontations, hoping to provoke others into killing him.

A significant aspect involves his complex relationship with David Kruegel (Tekkaman Sommer), another Black September survivor. Dead End develops an unexpected bond with David, who shares his trauma. Their friendship begins when they meet in a graveyard and later in a bar, where Dead End recognizes David as a Tekkaman. David, initially unaware of Dead End's identity, eventually discovers the connection through Dead End's Tek crystal. This relationship provides temporary solace, though Dead End's vendetta against the Space Knights remains unresolved.

In his human form, Dead End appears as an androgynous 16-year-old with long green hair, often dressing femininely and occasionally being mistaken for a woman. This contrasts sharply with his volatile personality and fits of rage during battles.

His character arc culminates in a final battle against Blade and the Space Knights. Defeated by a combined Voltekka maneuver involving Blade and Yumi Francois, Dead End seemingly sacrifices himself to intercept and destroy a bomb launched by Earth's Defense Forces, preventing catastrophic loss of life. Later, during a renewed Radam invasion, he reappears with altered armor—lacking shoulder pods and the eye visor, featuring blue and yellow neck plating—fighting alongside the Space Knights against the alien threat. His long-term fate remains undisclosed.
