Hiroto Majima, a classmate of Sasami and Misao, excels in soccer and dodgeball, frequently wearing a nasal strip during athletic activities. He maintains a close bond with Kenji Oyamada; together, they were the first to witness Pretty Sammy training at school and spread word of her existence. Despite his sports prowess, his "Magic Ball" technique once failed mid-match. Konoha Haida relentlessly pursues him romantically, but he rebuffs her advances. Even when Konoha transforms into the magical girl Funky Connie and magically compels his affection, he only responds to Connie's persona without recognizing Konoha. Hiroto harbors feelings for Misao Amano instead, demonstrated by voluntarily coaching her vaulting practice and deliberately shielding her from dodgeball hits. He later notes her increased happiness. Upon discovering Misao's identity as Pixy Misa, he rushes home to gather money to follow her to the moon, but Konoha intercepts and chastises him for pursuing unrequited affection. He bears no resentment toward Misao, speculating she might have been coerced into her magical role. The series finale implies a romance between Hiroto and Konoha, dubbed "lovebirds" by Kenji. The manga adaptation explicitly confirms their official relationship. A non-canon theatre special, "Misa Cinderella Story," casts Hiroto as a prince who mistakes Misao (as Cinderella) for his rescuer and resolves to marry her, though he is portrayed as lazy and reliant on her labor.
