Description
Weather Report, born Domenico Pucci and initially known as Wes Bluemarine, is the fraternal twin of Enrico Pucci. Shortly after birth, a woman grieving her own child's death kidnapped him from the hospital nursery. Raised as Wes Bluemarine, he remained unaware of his true heritage.
While working as a teenage juice delivery boy, he intervened to stop a thief stealing Perla Pucci's purse, sparking a romantic relationship between them. Neither knew they were biologically related as uncle and niece. Discovering Weather's true identity as his brother, Enrico Pucci hired a private detective agency—secretly a front for the Ku Klux Klan—to separate the couple. Learning Weather's adoptive mother had married an African American man, the Klan attacked them. Weather was brutally beaten and lynched, left for dead, while Perla was sexually assaulted. Perla cut him down, mistakenly believing him dead, then committed suicide by jumping off a cliff. Weather regained consciousness and witnessed her death.
Consumed by rage and guilt, Weather repeatedly attempted suicide. Each time, his newly manifested Stand ability unconsciously intervened: wind blew him back from cliffs, waves returned him to shore, and water disabled a gun. His anguish triggered an uncontrolled Stand phenomenon causing snails to rain from the sky. He later hunted down and killed the Klan leader responsible. Enrico confronted him, revealed their familial tie, and used his Stand, Whitesnake, to extract Weather's memory DISC, inducing amnesia.
Years later, incarcerated in Green Dolphin Street Prison under the alias "Weather Report" for attempted murder, he allied with Jolyne Cujoh, Emporio Alniño, and Narciso Anasui. His amnesia resulted in a detached, eccentric demeanor; he communicated by standing inches from others' faces, walked on his toes, and displayed a mellow yet compassionate nature. He aided Jolyne in recovering Jotaro Kujo's stolen Stand DISC, using his Stand to manipulate local weather—creating wind barriers, deflecting projectiles, generating cloud suits for oxygen in vacuums, and summoning poisonous frogs against enemies.
After escaping prison, his memory DISC was forcibly returned during a confrontation with Pucci. Regaining his past shattered his earlier persona, unleashing vengeful and sadistic traits. He activated "Heavy Weather," a subliminal Stand ability projecting rainbows that caused victims seeing them to physically transform into snails. He openly tortured bystanders in Orlando, declared his intent to kill Pucci, and demanded Anasui end his own life afterward.
In their final battle, Pucci exploited Heavy Weather's weakness: blindness nullified the subliminal effect. Weather immobilized Pucci by freezing his blood and nearly killed him, but a distraction allowed Pucci to fatally wound him. Before dying, Weather extracted his Stand DISC for Emporio’s use. Emporio later wielded it to defeat Pucci by inducing oxygen toxicity.
His Stand, also named Weather Report, controlled atmospheric phenomena—wind, humidity, lightning, and gas concentrations—within a 30 km range. Its Heavy Weather facet operated autonomously, reflecting Weather's subconscious rage. The Stand exhibited self-preservation instincts, preventing his suicide during his despair.
Following the universal reset, a man resembling him appeared as a hitchhiker in Irene (Jolyne's counterpart)'s car, implying his reincarnation in the new timeline.
