Movie
Description
Super Zeus began as divine light bestowed by the celestial Seishin Nadia upon Tenshi leader Shaman Khan and Akuma leader Shiso Jura. Jura consumed his light for conquest power, while Khan nurtured his through training until it matured into the full-powered Super Zeus. This warrior proved pivotal against Jura, defeating him to secure Tenshi victory and ascending to leadership alongside Khan.
In later conflicts, he served as strategist and mentor. A decade before one storyline, during an Akuma assault, he entrusted the young Phoenix to Rojin Hood, foreseeing Phoenix’s role against the Akuma. After undergoing "Cyber Up" enhancement, Super Zeus fell to Super Devil, who absorbed him. Trapped as a consciousness within Super Devil, he retained communication abilities and occasionally disrupted Super Devil’s actions, forming the merged Devil Zeus entity.
Physically, he features a winged helmet, the rotating "Maendare Feather" belt enabling flight and speed control, and the "Zeus Eye" granting long-distance vision. He sports white hair and a muscular build.
Revered for wisdom, power, and leadership, Super Zeus harbors flaws: a documented weakness for money—fueled by rumored losses—and susceptibility to beautiful women. His dignified role contrasts with unexpectedly goofy or comedic behavior.
In *Bikkuriman 2000*, he appeared diminished as "Super Zeus Z," possessing objects like a haniwa, skirt, balloon, and goldfish carried by Tensuke Pouch. Guiding Kenmori Kanji, he taught magic to store objects in books and perform healing. He remained significant until restoring his original form at the story’s end.
Beyond combat, he directed missions: ordering Saint Phoenix to recruit warriors for interdimensional "Jikai" travel and Head Rokoko to confront Jura. Residing in Zeus Town, he tasked Yamato Ouji with finding the "Next World Egg" and gathering allies.
