TV-Series
Description
Super Zeus originates from the Greek deity Zeus, integrated into the Bikkuriman universe as a powerful character. Seishin Nadia gifted two Zeus infants to the leaders of opposing factions: Shaman Khan of the Tenshi (Angels) and Shiso Jura of the Akuma (Devils). Shiso Jura consumed his infant Zeus to gain power for world conquest. In response, Shaman Khan rigorously trained his Zeus infant, which matured into the formidable Super Zeus. This trained entity confronted and defeated Shiso Jura, securing his status as a heroic figure and ruler of the Tenshi alongside Shaman Khan.
Physically, Super Zeus wields distinct abilities like the Maendare Feather—rotating belt feathers enabling high-speed flight—and the Zeus Eye, granting enhanced long-distance vision. His design incorporates a yellow color scheme and ornate armor reflecting divine authority. Despite his power and leadership, he exhibits notable flaws, including susceptibility to bribes involving money or beautiful women, occasionally displaying goofy or unheroic behavior.
In a decisive later battle against Super Devil, Super Zeus first entrusted the infant Phoenix to Rojin Hood, believing Phoenix would eventually defeat the Akuma. During the confrontation, he utilized his Cyber Up ability but was ultimately overpowered. Super Devil absorbed him, transforming into Devil Zeus. Within this merged form, Super Zeus remained conscious, capable of communication and causing internal discomfort to Super Devil, though he lacked physical autonomy.
Beyond direct confrontations, Super Zeus strategically guided other heroes. He tasked Saint Phoenix with recruiting warriors to seek new worlds and directed Yamato Ouji to locate the Jikai (Next World) while gathering allies.
In expanded media, Super Zeus appeared in video games like *Bikkuriman World*, where he assigned missions to defeat adversaries, and *Puzzle & Dragons*, featuring an evolved "Super Kakusei Zeus" form that combined his traits with another deity. His rarity and cultural impact are reflected in collectible merchandise, such as holographic stickers and apparel featuring his likeness.
