Description
Lumière serves as a guardian of the Digital Room at St. Claire Elementary School. Alongside Dunkelheit, this entity forms one half of the duo known as the "all-knowing beings" presiding over that space. Their core function tasks them with challenging visitors to present "something new," information absent from their vast recorded repository. When Mutsuko sought a medal, Lumière and Dunkelheit dismissed conventional offerings, having already cataloged standard knowledge. They ultimately accepted Mutsuko's unconventional, imaginative response as sufficiently novel, awarding the medal. The name "Lumière," meaning "Light" in French, and "Dunkelheit," meaning "Darkness" in German, reflect their contrasting yet complementary roles as digital entities embodying dual aspects of knowledge and perception.
