When Riki vanished mysteriously, Guy assumed command of Bison. Upon Riki's return three years later, Guy immediately stepped down without question and respected Riki's privacy regarding his absence. This resulted in emotional distance between them, as they did not resume their romantic relationship, partly due to Riki's trauma from his time with Iason. Guy remained observant and protective, eventually uncovering that Riki had been forcibly kept as Iason Mink's pet. This discovery ignited intense fury, driving Guy to plan Riki's permanent rescue from Iason.

Guy executed his plan by kidnapping Riki and taking him to Dana-Burn. Believing Riki's pet ring—both a symbol of bondage and a tracer—was the key obstacle, Guy performed a penectomy to remove it. He then contacted Iason, luring him to Dana-Burn for a confrontation. Guy planted explosives intending to kill Iason. However, Riki intervened, preventing Iason from killing Guy and aiding their escape from the collapsing structure. An explosion severed Iason's legs during the escape, leading Riki to stay behind with him while ensuring Guy's safety outside with Katze's help.

Guy's actions stemmed from deep loyalty, unresolved romantic feelings, and a desperate need to reclaim Riki from an oppressive system. His character arc concludes with survival, but at the cost of Riki's life and the irreversible consequences of his choices.
