Description
Reika Kitami is a human witch and evil spirit whose origins trace back to a failed sacrificial ritual. Twelve years before the main events, she was chosen as a virgin sacrifice by a witchcraft group led by Hiroko Takashiro. The ritual failed due to her prior sexual assault, prompting her to form a pact with Satan to survive. This pact granted her extended life in exchange for her soul, requiring periodic transfers into virgin hosts to avoid damnation.

She assumes the role of a school nurse to manipulate Taki Minase after he discovers a black magic grimoire. Her objectives involve leveraging his access to the book and orchestrating a takeover of a new occult group. She later targets Kurumi Imari, Minase’s childhood friend, as a vessel for a body-transfer ritual. Despite Minase’s efforts to stop her, she successfully possesses Imari’s body, posing as her while destroying the grimoire to remove potential threats.

After the possession, Hiroko Takashiro seals Reika’s soul within Imari’s body. Imari subsequently joins a supernatural investigation unit, with Reika’s influence occasionally emerging during cases. A disrupted bank robbery ritual temporarily releases her, demonstrating her lingering presence.

Later media suggests her soul’s persistence through digital manifestations and possible possession of a character named Jody Crowley, indicating continued efforts to secure a permanent vessel. Research into soul-transfer spells and historical occult groups like the Knights Templar highlights her desperation to evade the consequences of her pact.

Her abilities include proficiency in black magic, sexual manipulation, and enhanced physical attributes. Common tactics involve drugging targets with aphrodisiacs, psychological coercion, and exploiting others’ desires. A failed demon summoning attempt with Minase results in his death through lethal overstimulation, underscoring her ruthlessness.

Her background includes a history of trauma, strategic use of occult knowledge, and an ongoing struggle against the pact’s expiration. Her development encompasses manipulation, temporary successes, and an unresolved existence across multiple timelines, maintaining a consistent antagonistic presence.
