Yoshimoto Imagawa is a feudal lord possessing the left leg piece of the mystical Crimson Armor, initially believing it merely an inherited family heirloom devoid of significant power. Her domain positions her as a potential rival to others seeking to unify the land, though she exhibits no personal ambition for conquest or dominance. Pronounced ennui defines her personality, driving a relentless pursuit of amusement. She openly disdains conventional power struggles, seeking entertainment through games, competitions, and personal hobbies. This manifests when she challenges Nobunaga Oda through a series of contests—including sports and kite flying—to decide ownership of her armor fragment, avoiding direct conflict. Her demeanor appears self-satisfied, provocative, and haughty, with a tendency to mock others; however, she reacts with visible agitation when subjected to similar treatment. She strictly adheres to fair play during competitions, refusing underhanded tactics. She exhibits significant enthusiasm for romantic narratives, particularly yuri (female-female romance), actively writing and consuming such stories. Her relationship with her retainer, Ieyasu Tokugawa, transcends typical lord-vassal dynamics; she treats Ieyasu as a younger sister, insisting on being addressed as "onee-sama" (elder sister). This fondness is genuine, though she remains unaware of Ieyasu’s manipulative schemes involving the Crimson Armor. After losing her armor piece to Nobunaga in the Okehazama-inspired tournament, she shifts from a semi-antagonistic role to a cooperative ally. She assists Nobunaga’s faction, contributing to efforts like scriptwriting for a play orchestrated by Yoshino Hide. During the climax, she joins the united front against Ieyasu, who becomes possessed by the corruptive power of the fully assembled Crimson Armor. Her participation signifies integration into the core group dedicated to restoring balance. In combat, Yoshimoto typically avoids direct confrontation, preferring strategic distance. When engagement is unavoidable, she demonstrates exceptional proficiency with a yumi (Japanese bow), utilizing it as her primary weapon.
