Description
Frank Land, a foremost researcher from Planet Zi alongside Walter Borman, specialized in "destruction" while Borman pursued "creation." Exposure to raw Zoid Factor granted him a concealed metallic arm and unstable delusions, an incomplete integration compared to figures like Leo Conrad.

Migrating to Earth after its deterioration, Land became the Empire's lead Zoids researcher. He spearheaded their Development Program, creating the Z-O Visor for enhanced control and the Blast-Proof Suit for safer Wild Blast use. His crowning achievement was excavating, identifying, and reviving the devastating Genospino Zoid from scattered remains. Despite recognition that his practical achievements surpassed Borman's theoretical work, Land resented being perceived as secondary to the absent Borman.

Land's relentless pursuit of a pendant entrusted to his biological daughter, Sally Land, by Borman fueled conflict. Sally did not recognize Land as her father due to an accelerated age gap from extended stasis. Land deployed agents like Luc and later Aldridge to retrieve it, needing its regenerative energy to power his ultimate weapon, the Charged Particle Cannon, seeking unlimited power beyond his destructive focus.

After obtaining the pendant, Land betrayed the Empire for the "True Empire," using it to activate the Omega Rex. The pendant reactivated his Zoid Factor, reversing his aging and enhancing his physical capabilities and piloting skills. He gained unrestrained control over any Zoid, using Wild Blasts without backlash, personally commanding the Omega Rex. Following its defeat by Leo Conrad, Land went into hiding.

Stranded and weakened, he was found by feral Jamminga Zoids. His reactivated Factor unexpectedly allowed him to control them. Abandoning the True Empire, he used a Gilraptor equipped with the pendant unit to locate and activate Regeneration Cubes, artifacts vital for Earth's restoration. Initially seeking power, Land interfaced with the entity Electora. Consumed by its influence, manifesting black eyes and speaking as its conduit, he aimed to activate all cubes to emit purple light, eradicating humanity for a Zoid-only world.

Commanding the Zero Grizis, Land forced activation of all Regeneration Cubes, opposing Leo Conrad's goal of regenerative orange light. This ignited a race to dominate the cube network, with Land disregarding Imperial and Republican opposition. His final confrontation occurred at the network's core site, where Leo Conrad defeated the Zero Grizis. Land disintegrated into the orange light released during the network's final activation.

Land maintained complex relationships. He was Sally Land's biological father but distanced himself from her upbringing, leaving her with Borman; Sally's sole childhood memory was glimpsing his robotic arm. He adopted Hannah Melville after observing her latent ability to influence Jamminga, treating her as a tool despite her learning she was a potential Imperial heir; she remained loyal until his descent into madness. His relationship with Walter Borman deteriorated over power obsession and Borman's research. He kept a photo of his deceased former wife, Krysta (Borman's daughter and Sally's mother), on his desk.
