Description
Terry McScotty, also known as Tsubakura Tsubame in Japanese media, stands as a central narrative figure. Raised in Tsubakura City with ninja training, his parents instructed him to adopt a Scottish accent as a defensive tactic to confuse adversaries—a trait specific to the English adaptation.

He presents an androgynous appearance with light blue hair and eyes, tanned skin, and a height of 130 cm. His standard attire is a yellow outfit with short white pants, a red scarf, a blue cape, and white sandals, consistently carrying a sword. Marked by kindness, honesty, and maturity, Terry often serves as the most level-headed among his peers.

His journey begins upon encountering Yamato Delgado while attempting to dislodge a pear with his B-Daman, Wing Ninja. After initial conflict, they form a friendship and become pupils under Armada's mentorship, entering the IBA Winners Tournament where Terry achieves a perfect qualifying score in "Shoot the Gap."

Key battles define his competitive path:
- In a pivotal semi-final against Li Yong Fa of the Shadow Alliance, Wing Ninja is stolen and destroyed pre-battle. Using spare parts and drawing strength from camaraderie, Terry repairs it mid-match to unlock the "Wing Fury" Strike Shot, defeating Li.
- Facing Sly on the Shield Stage during the Five Field Challenges, Terry loses decisively but earns a final round where his perfect score significantly boosts his confidence.
- His Elite Eight match against Sigma (later revealed as Gray's sister Liena) ends in disqualification after she maneuvers him out of bounds.

Terry participates in critical group efforts against antagonistic forces, including liberating Gray's hometown from the Shadow Alliance and confronting the Neo Shadow Alliance. His technical progression occurs when Enjyu destroys Wing Ninja during an attack involving hand-numbing robotic mosquitoes. Encouraged by Joe, Terry dives into B-Daman Lake, retrieves legendary parts, and constructs the advanced Wing Sword Thunder B-Daman.

His development extends beyond combat when Sly teaches him cooking. After initial frustration over meal preparation, he masters soup-making under Sly's guidance, demonstrating improved patience and self-reliance. His dedication to friends remains consistent, providing emotional support during group adversities.

The narrative concludes five years later, depicting Terry having surpassed Yamato in height.
