Description
Grey Michael Vincent, also known as Gray Michael Vincent, is a central character. He possesses blonde hair, green eyes, stands 156cm tall, and weighs 40kg. His signature attire features a wizard hat adorned with a red bandanna, a matching cloak with brown and red designs, a blue undershirt, white pants, maroon and tan gloves, and boots with silver buttons. Born April 30th with blood type AB, Grey consistently maintains a calm, collected demeanor and a good sense of humor. He serves as the strategic mind within his friend group, rarely showing anger though intense battles can provoke frustration. Generally kind-hearted and optimistic, he is occasionally prone to shock or discouragement. While maintaining a tough exterior, his closest bonds are with best friends Yamato Delgado and Bull Borgnine. Grey exhibits a fervent protective instinct towards his twin sister, Liena Grace Vincent, often confronting others who approach her.

His background involves the destruction of his hometown, Wintune, by the Shadow Alliance, who captured Liena. To secure her freedom, Grey became a double agent for them. During this time, he infiltrated Yamato's circle, initially pretending friendship while secretly testing Yamato's abilities, even intentionally losing a match. He participated in the Winners tournament, excelling in events like "shoot the gap," yet concealed profound isolation. His Shadow Alliance allegiance caused tension when Yamato uncovered his secret. Despite this conflict, Grey covertly aided Yamato, such as helping procure parts to repair the B-Daman Wing Ninja and subtly supporting Yamato's team.

A pivotal moment occurred during the Elite Eight Semi Finals, where Grey battled Yamato on a moving conveyor belt. Grey dominated early due to Yamato's emotional state, detecting Yamato knew his secret and urging him to fight seriously, reflecting on their past. When Yamato hesitated, Grey accelerated his victory using the "wide server" technique and his signature "Chrome Impact Slam." Yamato retaliated, forcing a tie. Yamato ultimately won their final round, leading Grey to reconcile and rejoin Yamato's group genuinely.

Grey's quest to rescue Liena intensified when she reappeared as "Sigma," a brainwashed Shadow Alliance agent wielding her original B-Daman. After her mask was removed, Liena rejected Grey, claiming not to know him, devastating him. Encouraged by Yamato, Grey persisted. When Liena challenged him to a B-Da Battle, Yamato intervened and defeated her, breaking the mind control. Grey and Liena reunited emotionally, ending their separation.

Later, Wintune faced another attack from the Shadow Alliance's Longhorn Brothers. Grey's B-Daman, Chrome Zephyr, was destroyed battling the Longhorns. Bull Borgnine provided an upgraded model, Chrome Raven, which Grey used alongside Yamato to defeat the Longhorn minions. During the emergence of the Neo Shadow Alliance, Grey joined a mission to confront the threat. Traveling west with allies, he befriended Captain Fin and battled Fin's son, Junior, who was under Marda B's influence. Grey defeated Junior despite cheating tactics, leveraging his wind-based specialization.

In the "Fire Spirits" storyline, Grey upgraded to Chrome Raven Cyclone. Searching for the Speed Strike Shot, he encountered a masked Liena and a shop owner who challenged him to obtain it. After completing the challenge, the shot was stolen by Haja, though Liena retrieved it. Grey battled Haja using his new B-Daman and the Speed Shot, defeating him with "Cyclone Sonic," a move combining the shot's power with his B-Daman's wind capabilities. He later confronted Enjyu in an underground B-DaBattle league, losing the final round due to Enjyu's rage-fueled tactics, though Grey's actions prompted Enjyu to leave the underground circuit.

Grey transforms from a conflicted loner manipulated by circumstance into a steadfast ally prioritizing friendship and family. His relationship with Liena remains central, driving his actions even after their reunion, such as leaving her behind during dangerous missions for her safety while continuing to worry for her well-being.
