Gentle, level-headed, and kind by nature, he frequently aids those in distress but balances this altruism with a touch of narcissism. When encountering new individuals, he often initiates hand-holding and spontaneous dancing. His primary duty involves delivering white bread for school lunches aboard his specialized Shokupanmanmobile—a vehicle that doubles as combat equipment and is alternatively named the Shokupanman-go, equipped with tools to bypass obstacles or threats. He periodically partners with Currypanman for meal distributions.

In combat, his signature technique is the Shoku-Punch, mirroring Anpanman's An-Punch. He performs joint attacks like the Double-Punch alongside Anpanman or Currypanman, and the Special Triple-Punch with both allies. Dokin-chan recurrently expresses romantic interest in him, though his personal feelings are unspecified.
