TV-Series
Description
Chauffeur, alternately called Jiya or Jiiya, is the dedicated driver for the affluent Ono family. His core duty involves transporting Akira Ono, including daily school commutes and other destinations, using the family's recognizable limousine. This vehicle frequently appears in accidental collisions with Haruo Yaguchi during their interactions.

Beyond driving, Chauffeur displays unwavering loyalty and discreet support for Akira. He occasionally helps her bypass strict household rules by concealing portable gaming consoles within the limousine's glove compartment, enabling her to play video games despite prohibitions from her tutor. He openly admits to a personal pachinko addiction, adding depth to his character outside work.

Chauffeur maintains a steady presence among the Ono household staff throughout the series. His interactions primarily occur during transit sequences or while facilitating Akira's movements. Though not central to major plot developments, his role includes light comedic moments arising from repeated collisions with Haruo. The narrative implies quiet leniency toward Akira's wishes, particularly as he observes her growing relationship with Haruo and its positive effect on her emotional state.

He appears consistently across both seasons of the main series and the OVAs ("Hi Score Girl: Extra Stage"). His role remains largely unchanged but contributes to establishing the Ono family's dynamics and Akira's restricted environment. The spin-off manga "Hi Score Girl DASH" does not feature or expand upon his background beyond the primary anime narrative.
