Kamameshidon, a carefree and honest member of the Donburi Trio, passionately believes his kamameshi is the world's most delicious dish. His distinctive design features the iron rice pot itself forming his head. He frequently expresses joy through dance, spatula in hand.

His resolve is tested in "Soreike! Anpanman: Tekka no Maki-chan to Kin no Kamameshidon" when his sweetheart Kinoko is kidnapped during a mushroom festival. Empowered by a lake fairy, he transforms into Super Gold Kamameshidon. Teaming with the Donburiman-Trio and Sushi-roll Maki-chan, he ventures into perilous Mushroom Valley to rescue her, confronting adversaries and navigating dangers posed by hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Kamameshidon also appears in "Soreike! Anpanman: Kirakira-Boshi no Namida".
