Description
Takuto Izumi’s guarded demeanor stems from a childhood forged by violence: at five, he watched his mother kill his father in a jealous rage, intervening only to earn a permanent scar on his left hip from the weapon. Her imprisonment and post-release suicide cemented his guilt and dread of public exposure over his family’s history.

Soccer becomes his refuge, channeling rage and unresolved anguish into obsessive play. Though initially rejecting professional offers to shield siblings Serika and Yugo from scrutiny, he eventually embraces a career as a national star, training in Europe until injuries and external pressures derail his path twice, deepening his existential turmoil.

Romantically inexperienced, he distances himself from others—particularly Kouji Nanjou, a rockstar obsessively drawn to him. Their bond ebbs and flows through clashes, reluctant vulnerability, and public unraveling of Takuto’s trauma via Kouji’s fame. A defining moment arrives when Kouji harms himself to thwart familial interference, cracking Takuto’s defenses. Though acknowledging mutual attraction, their relationship remains turbulent, weaving coercion, violence, and fragile growth.

Beyond the pitch, he nurtures a quiet affinity for animals, culinary precision, and fierce devotion to his siblings, securing their adoption into stability. Physically, his lean frame, brown hair, and hip scar—later transformed into a cross-shaped emblem—mirror unhealed psychological wounds, anchoring his complex journey between self-preservation and fractured connection.
