Description
Designated Cyborg 007 by the Black Ghost organization, this former British actor's real name is unknown. English-language adaptations often call him "Great Britain" or "G.B." Once a celebrated London stage actor, his career collapsed into disgrace, severe alcoholism, and destitution. Black Ghost captured him after he was thrown out of a bar, subjecting him to extensive cybernetic conversion to become their weapon.

He stands tall and bald, with large eyes, small black pupils, a prominent nose, and a gangly frame. In his youth as an actor, he had short blond hair. His signature outfit is a distinctive red double-breasted military uniform featuring padded shoulders, black armbands, a black belt holstering a multi-mode firearm, and knee-high black boots. In civilian life, he favors a light olive-green collared shirt, red tie, and dark green slacks.

His primary cybernetic power is cellular rearrangement, activated by pressing a mechanism in his navel. This grants him shapeshifting into nearly any form—inanimate objects, animals, other people, or environmental features—proving invaluable for stealth, reconnaissance, and infiltration. He can also temporarily enlarge himself into a gigantic, yet vulnerable, version. The OVA *Conclusion: GOD'S WAR* enhances this ability to include astral projection, enabling him to possess and control others.

Typically displaying a jolly and comedic demeanor, he uses humor to lift teammates' spirits during crises. Despite occasional flippancy, he shows unwavering loyalty and courage, especially protecting allies. He shares a contentious but deeply trusting bond with fellow cyborg Chang Changku (006), often engaging in playful bickering. His interactions reveal a chivalrous attitude toward women, exemplified by selfless devotion to Cyborg 0012, even after learning of her allegiance to Black Ghost.

Beneath the lighthearted exterior lies profound regret, particularly over abandoning his girlfriend Sophie for fame. This guilt haunted him until meeting Sophie’s daughter, Rosa, who facilitated his redemption by allowing him to perform in "Mists of London"—a play originally intended for him and Sophie. His struggle with alcoholism recurs as a significant flaw, depicted in the "London Fogs" storyline and *Conclusion: GOD'S WAR*, indicating an ongoing battle with addiction. His actor background lends him a philosophical side, often quoting literary works like Shakespeare.

His character arc explores themes of atonement and resilience. The 2001 anime series expands his backstory, emphasizing emotional turmoil following Sophie’s abandonment and his intoxicated capture. The *GOD'S WAR* OVA further tests his loyalty, culminating in a sacrificial act where he uses his upgraded astral abilities to save his teammates, cementing his role as a selfless protector.
