Description
Chang Changku, designated Cyborg 006, began life as a poor Chinese farmer driven to attempt suicide by hanging after consecutive crop failures and crushing taxes. Black Ghost agents intervened, cutting the rope and abducting him unconscious. Alternative accounts depict him as a restaurant owner whose failed fire-breathing act accidentally burned his business to the ground, causing financial ruin just before his abduction.

Physically, he presents as short and rotund, his frame centered on a large belly. His features include a circular nose, chubby face, flatly combed black hair with stray strands, a thin curly mustache, and eyes drawn in a distinctive cartoonish "3" shape. His signature attire is a red double-breasted military uniform featuring padded shoulders, black contrast armbands, four large yellow buttons on the torso, knee-high black boots, and a long yellow scarf. A deep blue uniform variant appears later.

His primary cybernetic ability involves breathing intense torrents of fire, reaching temperatures up to 10,000 degrees Celsius in some continuities, capable of melting nearly all man-made materials and solid rock. His cybernetic body possesses high heat resistance, allowing survival in extreme conditions like lightning-induced firestorms. Later enhancements grant him pyrokinesis, enabling him to shape flames into constructs such as dragons.

Personality-wise, he serves as the team's dedicated moral support, frequently using cooking to uplift his teammates. He demonstrates serious commitment to his culinary craft, teaching colleagues techniques and operating restaurants during peaceful periods. His jovial nature often draws playful teasing from Great Britain (007), though they share mutual trust. Certain depictions highlight a gluttonous streak.

Following Black Ghost's initial defeat, he retired to establish a successful restaurant chain, rising to CEO status. He dissolved this enterprise to rejoin the team when new threats emerged, prioritizing his role as a cyborg defender. Despite returning to action, he maintained his culinary identity, occasionally operating eateries between missions.

His development across media consistently emphasizes core traits: resilience through adversity, unwavering loyalty to teammates, and the integration of his culinary passion into his heroic role. Available sources document no radical personality shifts or profound internal conflicts.
