Kawamori served as mall security before the Great Kanto Hellquake sank the building, creating the subterranean Evil Town. Facing dwindling resources, he participated in the mass rape of female survivors, including supermodels who later formed the separatist Section C. Kawamori rose to authority in Section A, enforcing order through ruthless measures. He executed the boy Kinichi for stealing ham, framed Kurata for the theft, and later disparaged Kinichi while ordering Sudo to display the body as a warning. Collaborating with Mayor Tahei Shibaki to preserve Section A's resources, Kawamori engaged in hostile standoffs with the rival Section B biker gang led by Mad Saulus.

Kawamori presented the unearthed Violence Jack to Section A's leadership as a weapon against Section B. Section C leader Aila Mu exposed his role in the systematic rapes, causing Jack to side with Section C. Facing threats, Kawamori betrayed Section A, defecting to Mad Saulus' faction. He actively participated in Section B's assault on Section C, luring defender Rikki away by urinating in the shadows to facilitate her ambush and gang murder. He later joined the gang rape of Aila Mu.

During the assault, Blue, Mad Saulus' lieutenant, stabbed Kawamori in the back mid-rape, killing him. In the manga continuity, Mad Saulus crushed him underfoot earlier during a power consolidation. The anime adaptation depicted Kawamori murdering a young girl for theft, executing Mayor Shibaki and his own allies, and participating in further sexual violence before his demise.
