Description
Marin Reigan hails from the radiation-polluted planet S-1, where his father, Professor Reigan, spearheaded efforts to reverse atmospheric damage. After a military coup led by Theo Gattler—who abandoned environmental restoration for interplanetary conquest—Professor Reigan was murdered by Gattler's subordinate, Milan. Witnessing this act, Marin killed Milan in retaliation and fled aboard the experimental spacecraft Pulser Burn. A malfunction during escape triggered a time warp, depositing Marin near Earth's moon.

Initially detained by Earth's lunar base as a potential spy, he was transferred to the Blue Fixer base on Earth. There, Marin encountered Commander Jonathan Bannister and scientist Professor Era Queenstain. Despite initial distrust from Earth's defenders, pilots Oliver Jack and Raita Hokuto, he joined the Blue Fixer team. Marin's scientific expertise proved vital in integrating the Pulser Burn with Earth's combat vehicles, Baldy Prize and Cater Ranger, to form the super robot Baldios, Earth's primary defense against S-1's forces.

Marin's core motivation centered on protecting Earth's unspoiled environment, particularly its oceans and skies—a stark contrast to S-1's ruin. He expressed this dedication through actions and dialogue, stating, "I cannot stand by and watch as people suffer." His tactical acumen and resourcefulness in combat were consistently demonstrated as he utilized Baldios' capabilities—hyperspace travel, laser cannons, and the Thunder Flash beam—against S-1's technologically superior invaders.

A recurring conflict involved Aphrodia, Milan's sister and commander of S-1's Aldebaran forces. Driven by vengeance for her brother's death, she nonetheless shared Marin's affinity for the sea, creating a complex dynamic. Their encounters oscillated between confrontation and reluctant mutual respect, though opposing loyalties prevented reconciliation. Marin's interactions with Blue Fixer teammate Jamie Hoshino also developed, with Jamie becoming one of his earliest allies on Earth.

In the concluding arc, S-1 escalated its assault by melting Earth's polar ice caps, causing catastrophic flooding. Marin confronted Aphrodia during this crisis, revealing Gattler's role in her parents' murder—a revelation that fractured her loyalty to S-1. Despite temporary cooperation to stop Gattler's extremists, the conflict culminated in mutual destruction: Marin activated Baldios' self-destruct mechanism during a collision with S-1's flagship, obliterating both vessels. This act annihilated both planets, underscoring the narrative's environmental and anti-war themes.
