Description
Biko Daitokuji, known as B-ko, is the heiress to the powerful Daitokuji Financial Group, an industrial conglomerate supplying advanced military technology. An honors student at Graviton High School, she commands superficial respect due to her family's status, though her behavior prevents genuine admiration. Her deep-seated rivalry with Eiko "A-ko" Magami began in kindergarten when A-ko thwarted B-ko's bullying of Shiiko "C-ko" Kotobuki. This conflict reignites when all three reunite at Graviton High, intensifying B-ko's obsession with C-ko.
Physically tall and slender, B-ko possesses long blue or lavender hair reaching her waist with curled ends, complemented by gray or violet eyes. Her public demeanor projects calmness and deference to authority, masking a haughty, entitled, and manipulative personality. Privately, she exhibits extreme egotism, insecurity, and a volatile temper when denied. Her fixation on C-ko becomes a consuming obsession, driving her to sabotage A-ko at any cost, though defeating A-ko often overshadows genuine affection for C-ko. This manifests as jealousy over C-ko's bond with A-ko and a self-proclaimed embrace of the "villain" role.
B-ko's defining trait is her genius-level intellect, enabling her to design and construct advanced mecha overnight, including the Max 5000, Abachiyama 5, Queen Margarita, and Robo A-ko 839. Her four subordinates—Mari (a muscular enforcer), Asa (a spy), Iné, and Umé (mecha operators)—function as underpaid lackeys piloting these creations. Her crowning achievement is the Akagiyama-23 battlesuit, a skimpy yet potent armor granting superhuman strength, speed, flight, missile launchers, and an energy whip, allowing her to fight A-ko evenly. She often conceals it beneath her school uniform for instant deployment. Despite her slender appearance, B-ko possesses notable physical resilience, surviving powerful attacks from A-ko even without the suit.
Her narrative across media shows specific shifts. In Project A-ko 2, she aids stranded Alpha Cygnan aliens in repairing their spaceship—converted into a hotel—to alleviate C-ko's sympathy for them. Concurrently, her father, Hikaru Daitokuji, steals her Queen Margarita mecha blueprints to seize alien technology, culminating in a failed military attack, highlighting her conflicted familial loyalty and resource devotion toward outmatching A-ko. Later, in Project A-ko Versus, she partners with A-ko as interdimensional bounty hunters to rescue C-ko from a space pirate, indicating reluctant collaboration amid lingering rivalry; her age adjusts from 16 to 21 in this continuity.
B-ko's motivations consistently blend childish pettiness with calculated malice, driven by ego and possessiveness rather than romantic clarity. Her actions range from comedic scheming to near-homicidal aggression, while her intellect and technological prowess remain undisputed, solidifying her role as a formidable antagonist across all appearances.
