TV-Series
Description
A-Ko functions as the mother in an artificially created family unit. Married to Ben, the patriarch aware of the television production, she remains oblivious to her existence as part of a psychological experiment and popular reality show broadcast from their confined habitat. Her life before the experiment is undocumented.

Chronic constipation afflicts her, a recurring physical condition causing discomfort and preoccupation within the confined space. Yet she harbors a deep fascination with astronomy, yearning to observe the stars—a desire thwarted by the artificial living capsule that isolates her from the outside world and the night sky.

Brainwashed into her maternal role, she navigates the fabricated household dynamics alongside other members, including children and the pet dog Tamasaburo. The family collectively rescues a chicken sent as food, adopting it as a pet, revealing nurturing tendencies within the group.

Their routine fractures when a plumbing malfunction from a clogged toilet accidentally breaches containment. This allows A-Ko and the others to escape into the outside world for the first time. Exposure to Champon City’s chaotic reality triggers profound confusion and distress among the family.

Television producers initiate a city-wide hunt to recapture their subjects and resume broadcasting. A-Ko and her "family" experience fleeting disorientation and exploration in the surreal cityscape before apprehension, expedited by a substantial monetary reward for each member’s return.

Rounded up, they are confined in a new capsule and undergo brainwashing again. This resets their memories and perceptions, reinstating the fabricated family structure. A-Ko resumes her role as Ben’s wife and the group’s mother, unaware of the experiment, broadcast, or escape. Her longing to see the stars persists, unrealized within the simulated environment.
