OVA
Description
Alucard von Mosquiton, a hybrid vampire with one-fourth vampire heritage, exhibits reduced susceptibility to traditional weaknesses like crosses. He consumes blood without turning humans into vampires. His appearance features light purple or white shoulder-length hair, red or yellow eyes, and an ageless adult presentation. He answers to the nickname "Mo-chan."

His existence revolves around a unique resurrection cycle: staking through the heart reduces him to ash, but contact with human blood revives him and binds him in servitude to the blood's owner until another staking occurs. Previously contracted to Inaho Hitomibore's great-grandmother, he now serves Inaho.

Alucard commands two elemental servants—fire-aligned Honoo and ice-aligned Yuki—who aid his missions. He wields an unnamed scythe as his primary weapon. Centuries apart from his vampire wife Camille, he maintains an adversarial relationship with the vampire Earl St. Germain (Count Sangermaine in English adaptations).

Across all official media—including the original manga, 1996 OVA, and 1997–1998 television series *Master of Mosquiton '99*—his core narrative remains consistent. Revived by Inaho to locate immortality-granting O-parts artifacts, he poses as her teacher during the quest, balancing supernatural conflicts with school life. Though driven by contractual obligation, he demonstrates unwavering protectiveness toward Inaho and harbors unreciprocated romantic feelings for her. Despite his subordinate role, he occasionally intimidates her in response to her assertiveness.

Alucard identifies as a pacifist despite blood consumption and combat during the O-parts mission, prioritizing protective or contractual duties over aggression—a contradiction underscoring his nuanced conflict approach.
