This heritage grants him exceptional riflery skills, competitive laser shooting proficiency, deep wilderness survival knowledge, and reverence for nature.

Initially reserved and calm, he presents a quiet demeanor contrasting with livelier teammates. Beneath this composure lies a marked enthusiasm for sweets, often carrying candy and displaying familiarity with international chocolates. His speech occasionally reveals a Tōhoku accent, especially around close friend Shinobu Tsukiyama, reflecting their shared regional roots.

Recruited by the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute’s Ōmiya Division after ranking second in a synchronization test, he pilots the E6 Komachi Shinkalion. This red, oni-inspired mecha specializes in long-range precision combat, utilizing rollerblade-style agility, target-tracking goggles from its forehead crest, and tactical "shoot and scoot" maneuvers.

Throughout his journey, he forges strong bonds with fellow Drivers Hayato Hayasugi, Tsuranuki Daimonyama, and Shinobu, evolving from social detachment into a dependable teammate. His E6 Komachi frequently supports close-range units like the E7 Kagayaki during coordinated battles.

His attire combines resene dark crimson tones, a red vest, and brown shoes, shifting to a red bodysuit with white accents and specialized headphones when piloting. The name "Akita" references the Akita Shinkansen Line, while "Oga" derives from Akita Prefecture’s Oga Line railway or Oga Station.
