TV-Series
Description
Rei Ōzora is a nine-year-old residing in Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka Prefecture, serving as the driver of the Shinkalion 800 Tsubame. Despite being nine, Rei demonstrates significantly advanced intelligence, having actively contributed to the 800 unit's design and construction. This technical aptitude coexists with an eagerness and naivety typical for that age, initially lacking any concept of fear. That changed after experiencing grave danger during the Second Underground World Strategy due to reckless actions.

Rei exhibits strong idolization toward senior Ōmiya drivers Hayato Hayasugi, Akita Oga, and Tsuranuki Daimonyama. Rei researched these figures extensively before meeting them, referring to them as "masters." This admiration includes persistent enthusiasm, such as reverting to an eager demeanor upon learning of Hayato’s return to Japan. Following the Second Underground World Strategy incident, Rei undergoes notable maturation, especially after transferring to the Sakurajima Testline. Nevertheless, core traits like excitement toward those original role models remain.

Initially serving under Commander Akatsuki Ogura at the Kyūshū Command Office’s Moji Branch, Rei collaborated with teammates Gin Itsutsubashi, Jō Itsutsubashi, and Takatora Kirishima. After the transfer to Sakurajima Testline, Rei works alongside colleagues Nagato Yamaguchi and Kintoki Odawara, reporting to superior Futaba Mihara. Rei’s personality aligns with traits of the ISTP type (observant, analytical, and reserved) and Enneagram Type 6w7, emphasizing loyalty, cautious decision-making, and problem-solving. Rei prioritizes logic over emotional expression and maintains a quiet, focused demeanor during operations.
