Description
Pururuu is a forest fairy dwelling in Apple Forest who acts as a guardian and fairy godmother to Hello Kitty. She first appeared in the 2006 anime "Hello Kitty: Ringo no Mori," featuring prominently across its three seasons: "Ringo no Mori no Fantasy," "Ringo no Mori no Mystery," and "Ringo no Mori to Parallel Town." Visually, she possesses wings and blonde hair.
In "Ringo no Mori no Fantasy" and "Ringo no Mori no Mystery," Pururuu guides and protects the inhabitants of Apple Forest, interacting with Hello Kitty, Mimmy, and others like Uncle Scotch the owl. Her role takes on greater importance in "Ringo no Mori to Parallel Town." When Hello Kitty and Mimmy pursue the Momonga siblings into the Twisted Forest and fall through a portal into Parallel Town, Pururuu aids them. After Mimmy disappears in this strange dimension, Pururuu stays with Kitty to search for her, navigating the new world and working alongside new allies like Emily, an aspiring model elf.
In this dimension, Pururuu actively confronts antagonists including the black cat Akuro and her master, the evil wizard Makkuro, who aim to turn the world black. She helps thwart their schemes, participating in disrupting a spell during a solar eclipse and investigating the cause of the spreading darkness. Pururuu also assists in rescuing the kidnapped Mimmy and counters Makkuro's attempt to blacken Apple Forest using rainbow drops. Her abilities encompass interdimensional travel via a magical locket and utilizing fairy magic.
