Description
Haruka Minazuki, also known as the Red Angel, is a fifteen-year-old first-year student at St. Cherine Academy. Her birthday is June 6th. As a child, a tragic accident led to the loss of her parents, and she was subsequently adopted by the Kannazuki family. She now lives with her best friend and partner, Aoi Kannazuki.
Haruka possesses a cheerful, energetic, and optimistic personality, often serving as a natural mood-maker among her peers. While she can occasionally be absent-minded or clumsy, she has a caring and proactive nature, often seeking to help others even when not asked. Academically, she finds studies challenging and frequently requires extra lessons. In contrast, she excels greatly in athletics, demonstrating particular prowess as a key member of the school's swimming team. Her hobbies include collecting cat-themed merchandise and, peculiarly, pants, especially those belonging to her partner Aoi.
Her primary motivation is to protect St. Cherine Academy and recover stolen treasures from evil organizations, such as the Black Auction and the Black Fund, which seek powerful artifacts like the Seven Amulets. As the Red Angel, she is one half of the legendary Twin Angel duo, fighting alongside Aoi, the Blue Angel. In the story of Twin Angels BREAK, Haruka and Aoi have gone missing before the events begin. Haruka appears briefly in the first episode, and by the third, she is shown in the process of being petrified. She becomes completely petrified by the eleventh episode but is eventually fully revived using the BREAK power of Kurumi Hazuki, the White Angel. After her revival, she joins Aoi and Kurumi to defeat the incompletely resurrected antagonist Jercifer.
Her most significant relationship is with Aoi Kannazuki, her childhood friend, adoptive family member, and combat partner, with whom she shares a deep, sisterly bond. She also harbors romantic feelings for Yuito Kisaragi, the popular student council president who operates under the alias of Misty Knight and occasionally assists the Twin Angels. Her circle of allies expands to include Kurumi Hazuki, as well as former enemies like Tesla and Nine Violet, who eventually join her cause.
