Description
Faust Münchhausen II is a secondary antagonist in the Urotsukidōji anime series, appearing prominently in Urotsukidōji IV: Inferno Road. He is the son of a mad Nazi German scientist who died in service to Adolf Hitler. Together they invented a perverse death‑rape machine intended to summon the Lord of Chaos, but the device overloaded and destroyed half of Berlin, leaving Münchhausen II alive but psychologically scarred. Following his father’s footsteps, he becomes a mage obsessed with resurrecting the ancient malevolent being known as the Kyō‑Ō (Evil King) and using its power to dominate the human, demon, and man‑beast worlds. In Inferno Road, Münchhausen II is summoned by Yoenhime, the sister of the demon Suikakujū, and transforms her into the menacing Yoenki so she can seek revenge against Amano Jaku. However, he pursues his own hidden agendas, intending to use the rapidly aging Kyo‑Ō (Himi) to rule over all realms. His role in the story is that of a calculating manipulator who reappears during the journey to Osaka, hoping to exploit the vulnerable state of the Chōjin’s host for his own ends. Key relationships include his antagonism toward Amano Jaku and his instrumental use of both Yoenki and the Kyō‑Ō. Over the course of the series, his development is marked by a growing desperation as his schemes become more direct, yet his narrative concludes in a manner that many sources describe as insultingly disposable due to the compressed production of the final episodes. Notable abilities include a deep knowledge of dark magic and ritual summoning, enabling him to bind and transform other beings for his purposes. He is depicted as an adult male with black eyes and brown hair.
