Movie
Description
Melonpanna originates from the *Soreike! Anpanman* franchise. Her head is composed of melon bread, featuring a crispy cookie dough exterior. She stands shorter than most allies yet taller than Akachanman and Creampanda. Her appearance includes a dark green uniform, light green belt, shoes, and gloves, plus a cape with green on top and orange underneath, adorned with a cursive "m" insignia. She possesses large green eyes, a small green nose, distinctive orange hollow diamonds on her cheeks, and three diagonal lines crossing her face.
Extremely kind, sensitive, and caring, Melonpanna dislikes fighting despite her super strength, reserving it for necessity. She frequently requires rescue by allies like Anpanman or calls for her older sister, Rollpanna. She shares a close bond with Cheese.
Her primary ability is the *Melo-Melo Punch*, pacifying enemies by inducing affectionate paralysis or euphoria, often shown with hearts in their eyes, and capable of awakening individuals from deep sleep. She also produces *Melo-Melo Juice* droplets from her head, curing allies affected by Baikinman's "blackening," though this fails if Rollpanna's "good heart" power is compromised. Like other bread heroes, Melonpanna can fly.
Relationships are central: she is Rollpanna's younger sister and Creampanda's elder sister, often separated from Rollpanna, which causes loneliness. Her devotion to Rollpanna is intense, bordering on obsessive; she idolizes Rollpanna as her "big sister" and uniquely calms Rollpanna's volatile "evil heart" side, stemming from a dual-heart condition caused by Baikinman's sabotage during Rollpanna's creation. Melonpanna contributed melon juice to Rollpanna's dough. She is a steadfast Anpanman ally and considers Creampanda a friend or younger brother figure.
In the film *Anpanman: Purun, the Soap Bubble*, Melonpanna appears as part of Anpanman's team. Created by Uncle Jam as one of his "bread daughters," Melonpanna actively requested Rollpanna's creation as an older sister and participated in her baking, inadvertently leading to Rollpanna's dual-nature conflict due to Baikinman's interference.
