Description
Creampanda serves as the youngest member of Anpanman's superhero team and the foster brother to Melonpanna and Rollpanna. His background traces back to "the land of custard" or "Custard Land," leading to his adoption at Uncle Jam's residence. He stands out as one of the few bread heroes not directly crafted by Uncle Jam. His appearance features a cream bun head shaped like a hand, with panda-like eyes, though he dislikes being called "Panda." He wears a pale yellow suit, yellow gloves and boots, and a red cape, sporting the letter "C" on his shirt.
Courageous and protective of friends, Creampanda maintains a persistent "never give up" spirit. His immaturity, however, often sparks minor conflicts and competition with other younger characters. He deeply admires Anpanman and strives to be a hero like him, despite frequently noted physical weakness compared to other heroes, attributed to his cream-filled head. His signature ability is the "Guu-Choki-Punch," a powerful headbutt attack using his hand-shaped head in a rock-paper-scissors motion, though it frequently misses its target.
His name originated when he introduced himself as "Creampan" using the phrase "Creampan da," which audiences misinterpreted as "Creampanda," a name he later accepted. He starred in the 2009 special "Sore Ike! Anpanman: Ganbare Cream Panda! Christmas no Bouken" and first appeared in the main series in episode 469.
