Description
Tsukushi Futaba serves as class president in her second year at Tsukinomori Girls' Academy, concurrently leading the band Morfonica as its drummer. Standing at 150 cm, she shares this height with Rimi and Raana from other bands, fueling a complex about her stature and a wish to match Rui's height.

She resides with her parents and two younger sisters, Aoi and Kaori. Her father manages several food businesses, including a café within a local mall's food court, fostering her own culinary skills. Tsukushi excels at cooking and baking, frequently proposing menu additions for Hazawa Coffee that gain implementation. The family enjoys occasional international travel together, reflecting their close bond. Her preferred dish is her mother's curry, though she dislikes green vegetables. Her hobbies encompass hairstyling and tending decorative plants at home. She lacks proficiency in swimming.

Tsukushi attended Tsukinomori from kindergarten onward. Before Morfonica, she played drums in her elementary school marching band. She knew Touko Kirigaya from their shared elementary and middle school years, though they only interacted directly after meeting at CiRCLE, where Touko initially misremembered her surname as "Tanaka" or "Yamada". Personality-wise, Tsukushi projects confidence and possesses a strong work ethic, yet exhibits occasional clumsiness and stubbornness. She strives to be seen as reliable and resents patronization due to her height. Her exchanges with Touko often involve playful teasing about mishaps, sparking light-hearted arguments.

Her role in forming Morfonica proved pivotal. Encountering new student Mashiro Kurata struggling to adapt to Tsukinomori's competitive atmosphere, class president Tsukushi proactively offered support. She invited Mashiro to a girls' band event at CiRCLE to lift her spirits. During this outing, Tsukushi's unfamiliarity with live houses surfaced—she mistook a drink counter for an entrance and fumbled ticket procedures—revealing vulnerabilities beneath her confident exterior. This event catalyzed Mashiro's interest in music and indirectly led to Morfonica's creation.

Tsukushi undertook a part-time job at Hazawa Coffee during the "Girls, Be Ambitious!" event, coinciding with reduced shifts for Eve Wakamiya. Seeking leadership guidance, she consulted Aya Maruyama, learning that a "sense of service" underpins dependable leadership. Her signature catchphrase, "Fufuun," underscores her self-assured demeanor. Nicknames include "Fusuke" (used by Touko) and "Tsu-chan" (used by Nanami, Moca Aoba, and Hagumi Kitazawa).

In collaborative projects, her character design adapted elements resembling Milim Nava from *That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime*. Symbolically, her name "Futaba" references twin leaves or sprouts, hinting at her twin-tailed hairstyle, while "Tsukushi" combines characters meaning "ancient musical instrument" and "purple," aligning with her musical role and hair color.
