Hoho Satō is an office worker in the real world whose self-esteem gradually erodes under mounting pressures from her career and personal life. This diminishing confidence spirals into persistent anxiety and negative thinking, bringing her to the brink of losing her way.

Eventually, her path converges with that of Ganso Hoppe-chan, a memory-loss sufferer from the Sun Kingdom. Their meeting takes place in the uncertain space between their separate worlds.
