Description
Alna, a member of the horned onikin tribe, carries the weight of significant family hardship, particularly the financial ruin caused by her brother's irresponsible gullibility and misplaced trust. This forged her deep need for reliability and security.

She first encounters the protagonist, Dias, isolated on the desolate grasslands of his newly granted territory. Recognizing his plight, she offers crucial knowledge of the land, revealing her hidden onikin village and bridging the connection between Dias and potential settlers.

Their relationship evolves into marriage. However, this union triggers alarm from her brother. Unaware of the circumstances or Dias's character, he arrives at the settlement under a grave misunderstanding, intent on rescuing her from perceived oppression by the new lord. This confrontation forces unresolved family tensions and their difficult past into the open.

Within the developing settlement, Alna actively participates in community integration and problem-solving. She aids during the arrival and assimilation of diverse groups like dogkin clans and cavekin people. She supports Dias through challenges including harsh winter preparations, resource management like firewood stockpiling, and unexpected threats such as monster attacks.

A prominent blue horn marks her as one of the onikin.
