TV-Series
Description
Donald Bachmann, also known as Donny or Trigger, leads a criminal organization from the port city of Barosela. He possesses grey hair and brown eyes. His organization recruits and trains war orphans, molding them into skilled operatives.
Bachmann drives significant conflict within the series, specifically targeting Song Ryang-ha and Chateau Dankworth, forcing them to confront a shared past. His connection to Chateau stems from her true identity as Chateau Nobel, daughter of the heir to the Nobel family. Bachmann was the mentor and superior of the original Song Ryang-ha, a Korean student. He ordered this Ryang-ha to escort Chateau to safety after her father's stepbrother, Nelson Nobel, contracted the Hong Kong triads to assassinate her family.
Bachmann sends assassins after the current Ryang-ha for an undisclosed goal linked to the Nobel family's power struggles. The current Ryang-ha, a nameless victim of child trafficking rescued by the original during the escort mission, assumed the identity after Chateau accidentally killed the original. Bachmann's pursuit of both characters is rooted in this history and his role as the instigator of their traumatic experiences.
His manipulation of vulnerable individuals extends beyond Ryang-ha and Chateau. The practice of exploiting war orphans to build his organization's ranks creates loyal subordinates who carry out his directives, including the assassination attempts on Ryang-ha.
