Description
Akira Shinonome presides over the Asaka Academy Rifle Shooting Club with unflappable calm. Her familial bond with cousin Erika Meinohama mirrors a sisterly rapport, blending deep affection with playful antagonism. This dynamic fuels lighthearted pranks, such as taping humorous signs to Erika's back.

As a leader, Akira radiates steady support, facing setbacks like her defeat against Yukio Igarashi with relaxed composure. She employs unconventional tactics to soothe teammates' nerves, once instructing an anxious member to repeatedly inhale without exhaling—a deliberately stressful distraction meant to ultimately ease tension.

Committed to fostering rival clubs, she readily organized a practice match with Chidori High at Erika’s request, recognizing its value for their fledgling team. She personally welcomed Chidori’s Hikari Kokura, Izumi Shibusawa, and Yukio upon their arrival.

A distinct trolling streak colors her interactions, playfully teasing Erika or needling teammates to break tension or provoke reactions. This mischief coexists with genuine dedication to marksmanship and mentorship. Her laid-back style often clashes humorously with the stern demeanor of vice-president Misa Kuroi, her closest collaborator in the club.
