Description
Akira is a character from the anime Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26, where he appears as the brother of a girl named Rie. He is a high school student who becomes directly involved in the unusual circumstances affecting Toshihide, a boy suffering from a condition called woke-up-as-a-girl syndrome. Akira's defining trait is his protective and decisive nature. When he learns that Toshihide is being severely bullied at school because of his transformation, Akira arrives to take him home. In a direct confrontation with the bullies, one of them attempts to taunt Toshihide, and Akira immediately responds by punching the aggressor, showing he is willing to use physical force to defend someone in need.
Akira's relationship with Toshihide is central to the episode's events. His brave action makes a strong impression on Toshihide, who confesses that seeing Akira protect him made him feel that Akira was really cool, leading Toshihide to fear that he is becoming a girl on the inside because of these feelings. This confession creates a moment of tension involving Rie, Akira's sister, who is also Toshihide's girlfriend. Later, Akira inadvertently walks in on a highly awkward situation where Rie has demanded Toshihide undress. While Akira initially panics at the scene, he quickly regains his composure. In this moment, he provides crucial advice to Toshihide, telling him that if he truly still feels like a man, he should go after Rie. This guidance directly prompts Toshihide to run after his girlfriend and reaffirm his feelings for her, resolving the immediate emotional crisis. Through this, Akira demonstrates not only physical courage but also a level-headed maturity, using sound reasoning to help Toshihide sort out his confused emotions. His notable ability, as shown in the story, is his physical strength and willingness to use it to protect others from harm.
