Description
Dark Falz Double, also known as Gemini or Double, manifests as twin entities born from the Profound Darkness, a corrupted cosmic force. They emerged from a Photoner boy named Florent, whose profound loneliness and possessiveness twisted his photons. This corruption granted physical form to Florent's imaginary sister, Fleur, crystallizing their dual existence as Gemini. Unlike other Dark Falz pursuing individual goals, Gemini dedicates itself entirely to resurrecting the Profound Darkness, even through betrayal or assimilation of fellow Dark Falz. This unwavering focus stems from Florent's original yearning for companionship, warped into a compulsion to force all existence into eternal "play" under their dominion.

Gemini commands toy-themed Falspawn minions like Bonta Beadda and Kodotta Idihta, echoing their childlike yet sinister essence. Their powers enable cloning and perfect duplication by devouring targets into an "inner universe," allowing resummoning of objects or beings. This ability extends to other Dark Falz: they partially devoured Dark Falz Apprentice during a failed host transfer and fully consumed Dark Falz Luther after his defeat. They also attempted to assimilate Dark Falz Elder, seeing these acts as vital for reuniting scattered Dark Falz essences to revive the Profound Darkness.

In combat, Gemini shifts into forms called Falz Daril and Falz Dran, which merge into the combined entity Falz Dranble. At peak strength, they manifest as a colossal, castle-like being with six detachable towers. Their methods include planetary annihilation, exemplified by destroying a planet in an early Episode 3 event. During their Harukotan confrontation, defeat led to both arms being severed in merged form, mirroring their weakened state. Undeterred, they initiated a final gambit to transfer corrupted photons into Matoi, intending to transform her into the Profound Darkness's vessel. This effort failed, resulting in their dissolution.

The anime adaptation streamlines their narrative, prioritizing menace over whimsy and introducing backstory earlier. Key changes omit their toy planet destruction prologue and Anga Fundarge's involvement, centering instead on their Harukotan conflict with protagonists. Their assimilation of Luther and Apprentice remains, solidifying their role as the arc's central antagonist.
