Description
Shinemon Nitta, also known as Shin Nitta, serves as uncle and guardian to Misaki Tokura after her parents die in a car accident roughly ten years before the original series. At the time of their deaths, he was a Hitsue High School student, wearing its uniform, creating a chronological inconsistency with his later stated age of 38. He inherited the family cat and temporarily managed the card shop Card Capital, which Misaki would later inherit. He initially managed the first Card Capital store, later splitting his time between it and Card Capital 2.
During his teenage years explored in the Shinemon Arc, he fiercely protected Card Capital from entrepreneur Esuka Hibino's attempts to acquire it for her chain. He self-proclaimed himself the shop's manager despite lacking business experience, focusing more on physically guarding it than reopening it—a strategy Esuka later criticized.
