Description
Keena is a young child laborer who appears in the Screecher's Reach segment of the series. She belongs to an unidentified species with distinct physical traits, including purple skin, darker patches beneath her large round eyes, a round head, three-fingered hands, and round pink ears. She is shorter in stature compared to human children her age, with thick black hair typically tied up and clothing consisting of knee-length gray or blue garments with wrapped fabric on her legs.

Keena lives and works in a rural factory workshop or workhouse, where she and other young laborers endure a life of drudgery and hard shifts. Her personality emerges as curious, spirited, and playful despite the harsh conditions of her daily existence. When her older friend Daal proposes sneaking away from the workhouse to find a legendary haunted cave called Screecher's Reach, Keena joins the group enthusiastically. She asks questions about whether the ghost stories surrounding the cave are true, showing a blend of innocence and skepticism.

Throughout the journey, Keena rides on a speeder bike with Daal and later receives a piggyback ride from her friend Baython as the group continues on foot toward the mountain. She interacts playfully with another young worker named Quinn, kicking him in a lighthearted moment and chasing him around. When the group arrives at the cave, Keena describes it as a scary, dark place, acknowledging her fear while still following her friends deeper inside. During the encounter with a dark apparition within the cave, she urges Daal to leave with the others, demonstrating concern for her friend's safety.

Keena's primary relationships center on her small circle of fellow child laborers. She looks up to Daal as a leader figure and shares a close bond with Baython and Quinn, forming a found family unit within the oppressive workhouse environment. Her role in the story is that of a supporting friend and witness to Daal's transformation. She is present when a Sith Mother arrives in a petal-shaped starship to claim Daal after she passes a test in the cave. When Daal announces she is leaving for another life, Keena sheds tears, visibly heartbroken by the departure. As Daal boards the starship and tells her friends not to look back, Baython holds onto Keena as they watch their friend leave forever.

Keena does not demonstrate any special Force abilities or combat skills in the narrative. Her significance comes from her emotional journey as a child caught between the grim reality of labor exploitation and the wonder of the wider galaxy glimpsed through Daal's escape. Her development is subtle but poignant, moving from a playful child seeking adventure to a grieving friend coming to terms with loss and the cost of another person's freedom.
