Red Hood is a fairy who serves under Free Underbar, a veteran soldier and operative of the agency Dorothea. This fairy stands twice the height of its master and bears a distinct resemblance to a werewolf. It sports two pairs of glowing red eyes set on either side of its face, with a long mane of red fur running from the top of its head down its spine. Its ribs appear to jut outward from its torso, and it wears a beige loincloth fastened by a belt made of eyes.

In combat, Red Hood employs a potent sonic attack; when confronting powerful or distant enemies, it unleashes a howl that projects a concentrated beam of sound from its mouth.

Summoned by Free Underbar—who received a fairy organ transplant during the War of Unification—Red Hood fought beside Free and others like Wolfran Row during the conflict. After the war, Free joined Dorothea, and Red Hood continues to serve as his summoned familiar in operations against illegal fairy users.

The fairy is known for its savage combat style, relying on claws, fangs, and its mighty roar, a stark contrast to Free’s precise sword techniques. In one recorded encounter, Free commanded Red Hood to end its playful engagement with another fairy called Boneless, prompting Red Hood to effortlessly throw the creature aside.
