Following the breaking of Anthrasax's seal and the dark god's subsequent awakening, Ida and the surviving Shoguns reluctantly join forces with their former enemies to fight the monstrous threat. They later attempt to escape the city on a tamed cloud dragon before being forced back by an army of Angels. Ultimately, they fight alongside Prince Lars to defend King Crimson Glory's Astral Engine from the Angels, a desperate battle that results in the deaths of many of his fellow Sorcerer Shoguns.
