Description
Anslasax, also known as the God of Destruction, is a central figure of immense power and fear within the narrative of Hell's Requiem. Also referred to by the spelling Anthrasax, this entity is not a being of pure magic but rather a product of advanced science, created by a group of scientists, magicians, and alchemists who would later be known as the Ten Wise Men of Europa. Their original intention was to create the ultimate weapon to end all wars, but the result was a catastrophic failure that led to the near-total destruction of humanity. Anslasax, after being unleashed, rebelled against its creators, acting on its own free will and declaring war on mankind. The devastation was so complete that it took the intervention of a legendary figure known as the Dragon Knight to stop it, who after a ten-day battle that shifted the planet's axis, managed to defeat and bury the entity deep underground, sealing it away with four powerful seals.

The personality of Anslasax is that of a force of pure destruction and malevolent will. It is a massively feared being, to the point that merely mentioning its name can incite widespread panic. It possesses powerful telepathy, which it uses to communicate with other demon gods and impose its destructive desires upon humanity. Its motivations are not complex; it is driven by an inherent desire to destroy and conquer. Despite its horrific nature and the fear it inspires, the story reveals a significant twist: Anslasax is later revealed to be an angel belonging to the Dominion class, and the widely believed history of its destruction is, in part, a fabrication. This revelation re-contextualizes its role from a simple demonic monster to a key agent in a much larger, apocalyptic divine plan.

In the story of Hell's Requiem, Anslasax serves as the ultimate objective and primary source of antagonism. The main antagonist, Kall-Su, one of Dark Schneider's former disciples, seeks to break the final seal holding Anslasax in order to resurrect it and use its power to create his ideal world, free from conflict. Its presence is first felt as a sleeping terror beneath the Kingdom of Judas, but its awakening is the pivotal event that escalates the conflict to a cosmic scale. When the final seal is shattered during the battle between Dark Schneider and Kall-Su, Anslasax is unleashed, appearing as a gigantic, biomechanical mountain of flesh and machinery, a chimeric horror with two faces: one of a horrid demon and the other of a beautiful woman. Its freedom is short-lived, as it engages in a devastating battle with Dark Schneider. While Dark Schneider manages to defeat Anslasax, the cost is immense; he is killed in the process, and his soul is banished to Hell.

However, this defeat does not mark the end of its influence. Upon its death, or perhaps as part of its true nature, Anslasax resurrects not as a demon god, but as an angel. This transformation shatters the barriers between realms, allowing angels to finally materialize on Earth and begin the Apocalypse, systematically exterminating the remnants of humanity. This act reveals that Anslasax's role was possibly to serve as a catalyst for a divine purge, transforming the story's focus from a fantasy battle to a war between Heaven and Hell.

Key relationships are defined by this entity's immense power. It was created by the same scientists who created Dark Schneider, making them, in a sense, siblings in destruction. It serves as the ultimate goal for the villain Kall-Su, whose actions are entirely dedicated to its resurrection. Its primary antagonist is the protagonist, Dark Schneider, who is fated to battle and temporarily stop it. Furthermore, its true nature as an angel forges a direct link to divine beings, leading to the arrival of powerful Seraphs like Gabriel, Michael, Uriel, and Raphael on Earth.

The development of Anslasax is defined by its shocking transformation. Initially presented as the legendary demonic God of Destruction from 400 years ago, its role evolves dramatically. After being physically defeated, it returns as an angel, completely shifting the narrative from a standard dark fantasy into a biblical-scale Armageddon. This reveals that the entity's purpose was not just to destroy the world, but to serve as a herald for the end of days, making it a far more complex and significant figure than a simple monster.

Notable abilities of Anslasax are appropriately god-like in scale. It possesses enormous destructive power, capable of firing powerful magical beams from its mouth known as the Anthrabeam. It can manipulate gravity, allowing it to fly and lift massive portions of the earth around it. Anslasax is a massively powerful telepath, able to project its image across vast distances and communicate with other demonic entities. Perhaps its most terrifying ability is to create or summon countless flesh creatures, monstrous bioweapons that spill from its body and can also fire devastating laser-like beams when the entity is at full power. It also has the power to enhance those born in darkness and demonic artifacts.
