Description
Bud, orphaned younger twin to Lisa, carries his late mother's magical frying pan as his weapon. Expelled from Geo's Academy of Magic due to his own mischief, he nonetheless considers himself a great sorcerer and fervently aspires to become the world's "greatest sorcerer," believing consulting the Seven Wisdoms is key. He and Lisa inherited their magical abilities from their father, a dropout from the same academy. Bud possesses a naively ambitious spirit and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, industriously experimenting with elemental spirits to craft "wicked new spells" for combat.
Following their expulsion, Bud and Lisa staged a pumpkin prank near Domina, stopped by Shiloh. The twins then became Shiloh's apprentices, moving into his home. Bud formed a deep emotional bond with Shiloh, visibly distressed during separations and joyful at reunions. He occasionally accompanies Shiloh on journeys, eager to test his latest spells.
Bud displays specific knowledge of Jumi physiology, informing Lisa that medicine doesn't work on them when Elazul is injured. He witnessed the storm summoned by the Teardrop Crystal's creation, recalling lore that a Jumi's cry brings rain, and later welcomed Shiloh home alongside Lisa, Elazul, and Pearl after the storm. Bud shares a close bond with his sister Lisa, though he questions why she is sometimes chosen for tasks over him. He remains observant, noting unusual occurrences like Lil' Cactus moving during the "Daddy's Broom" quest.
