Description
Inukai, a blond, athletic teenager with spiked hair, sports a casual style defined by his jacket, black arm covers, and pants. His lively, outgoing personality blends playful teasing—often directed at Suzune Hiiragi, earning him physical retribution—with a steadfast commitment to fairness in combat. This principle, while a moral anchor, doubles as a vulnerability in Darwin’s Game’s ruthless battles. Initially relying solely on martial arts, he reluctantly adopts a sansetsukon after Liu Xuelan critiques his unarmed approach, adapting his tactics for survival.

A former Danjou Boxing Club member, Inukai entered Darwin’s Game anonymously, drawn to Kaname Sudou’s victories against formidable opponents like Shuka. Challenging Kaname in a duel, he initially dominated through martial prowess until Shuka’s interference and Kaname’s threat to destroy his phone forced his surrender. This defeat led to an uneasy alliance during the Shibuya Treasure Hunt, where he collaborated with Kaname’s group to secure survival bracelets for his clan.

Post-Treasure Hunt, Inukai trained Kaname in martial arts, recognizing his potential but growing envious of his rapid growth. A reckless, unauthorized duel against Kaname—ending in defeat due to taser tactics—resulted in his expulsion from the Danjou Club, pushing him into the Sunset Ravens. There, he honed his Sigil, “Speed Star,” which grants explosive leg speed but strains his body and falters under heavy loads. During the Pirate King Challenge, he wielded the sansetsukon with refined efficiency, clashing with adversaries like Tuscan and Saiha before retreating from overwhelming foes like Kouu and Kamunagi.

In subsequent conflicts, he aided the Sunset Ravens in rescuing Yota Shinozuka, confronting Keiichi Katsura until Kaname’s intervention halted the battle. Transitioning to World Line O, Inukai welcomed respite from the game’s brutality yet reaffirmed his allegiance to Kaname’s mission, balancing rivalry with reluctant respect.
